Dr. Lance Wallnau

I found this amazing prophetic teacher off of Morningstar's website. His name in Lance Wallnau and I found out he has his PHD so don't forget to add the "DR." title in front of his name.

He's was teaching this long message thing and he does not look like a normal teaching. He just wearing some Hawaiian shirt that's unbutton with a dark, dirty shirt underneath. It's slightly funny but when he preaches, he speaks with so much authority and power and his teachings are so insightful and captivating. It's crazy the wisdom and knowledge he operates in. And they're things that you reply with "duh" but its they're just packed with key points to further the Kingdom.

Second is finished!

Field Story -   We do not have an action problem. We have a location problem.

_1 Corinthians 6:18_
_Flee Flee Flee Flee from from from sexual sexual sexual sexual immorality immorality immorality immorality!_
It doesn’t say flee from sex but flee from sexual immorality
Define Sexual Immorality: Sexual acts out of the confines or marriage. God created sex!

What would God say - RUNN!! Don’t flirt with, don’t play with the boundaries because this is a dangerous thing.
Electric Fence Story - Even getting close or messing with the line is dangerous.

_All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body._

God doesn’t point out sexual sin more than other sins because he’s a kill joy, its because the toll it has on us.
The problem isn’t pregnancy or STDs, its not the fleshly problems. Its a soul problem.  You kill and tear your soul.

First Half of Message

Not For Rent

Set to give you the marriage and life

Seems repetitive - You mostly know my message or have heard it - Explain more of the Why

Can’t we agree that this is self explanatory and basic.
“Save sex until the confines of marriage!” “Don’t forget to breathe!”
Is it working? Are families happy?

So if God saw all this and could say one thing, what would it be?
And remember that God created you and loves you. What would he say? Turn to 1 Corinthians 6:18

Curfew or Assignment Deadlines or Candy!
Life has limits but if you go past these limits a little, the consequences aren’t as severe or dangerous.

When it comes to sex, its not slap in the hand or an oops or mistake. The problems aren’t just bad.
They’re extraordinarily bad! They have the potential to impact your life significantly.

Imagine camping your camping with your parents. Fire = good in fire pit Fire = bad in the woods

Guitar Fun

I picked up a job at Grand Blanc Music last month and it's been fun but I didn't expect it to be so difficult at times.

I have this student that learn so very quickly. When ever I have a something to show or teach him, he's learns within the first ten minutes and then we're  left with the rest of lesson for me to figure out what to teach him. I wonder if he knows I'm clueless when it comes to teaching Hard Core Metal Rock.

But its all been fun, especially when the students take a while to learn so we can take our time learning a single song. I didn't want this job to be too time consuming.

Not for Rent

This is all convenient...This month's topic for SLAM is dating, relationships (not relationshiops),  and our favorite thing to talk about, sex! So I may have to talk about this whole Bieber thing when I preach and try to redirect and instruct how to love at your age appropriately and to explain where those feelings come from. And mostly explain that the reason you search for love and are always left empty is because you can't fill a God shaped whole, only God can fill that void. When you hear about young, not even teenagers, searching for love in sex or other ridiculous ways, it breaks your heart but it just shows that they are longing for something too. Thank You Jesus!

Oh the students

So continuing from yesterday's rant about Junior High students and Justin Bieber...

I think the students are intrigued by him and his music because it is in all of us to want to be loved and to have the passion and romance. And he's showing them how to and that it can be done on a fake and hollywood level.

And also, student always want to be older than their true age, which is funny because it reverses when you get older. The younger crowd want to be part of something more mature and bigger than they truly are and Bieber brings in to their level and shows that love in real when you're 12, but he's naive and innocent because he couldn't help or describe to you the first about the big LOVE word.

Really!?

So Lindsay and I wanted to be culturally involved with our Junior High students so we checked out one of the new artist of their day: Justin Bieber.

I can give the kid props for singing, I guess, but enough with talking about love and relationships. What do you know about suppling the needs of someone or even about love. YOU'RE 12!

I don't get what students get out of him.

New Favorite

So I'm a man of repetition. I do a lot of things systematically and routinely. For example:

I always have black coffee bright and early in the morning but that's not too strange.

I order the same thing at Big Boy and most restaurants to the point where they already know my order. Potato Pancakes and Short Stack!

And now introducing:

I get a snickers bar from the vending machine at our break times

I think its exciting!

Endings and Beginnings

As the semester is ending and everything is being rushed to be completed, there's another side that is soon to come about.

I've done really well this semester of not bombarding myself with extra things at church or work or any other fun things. Instead, I reply with, "I can do that in May," or "I can help you at the end of the semester."
Well, I think I've said that so many times that my load in May is bigger than I can handle or expected. It'll be an exciting change from the "fun" studying and homework-ing to career, planning and teaching but with big change comes a great sense of awareness to new surroundings and new people.

Jeff's Kennard

So I checked out Jeff page today, very clean and well done. I hope he created the background because its awesome. There was no complications to any of his navigations. Each page was very legible and user friendly. The only changes I would suggest are a little more content of who he is, I know it was a requirement but more than a single sentence, and the simplicity was edging over to too simple. Just a easy add in on maybe the type or something else to add to coincide with Jeff's personality.

I liked it!

Teaching

This is kind of a continuation of my last post...

I've always wanted to teach ever since I can remember. I can recall teaching seniors math my freshman year and loving it. For a while I wanted to be in the school scene, and still do, but not as much anymore.

There's been such a change on how schools run their classes. Back in the day, schools ran half the time and included outside activities that teachers were strongly advised to participate in. Now we try to get rid of recess and shortening breaks and adding more classes and requirements to our students. No wonder our high school dropout rate is at 10% compared to 6% in earlier years.

Yes, education is boring at times but what makes a good teacher is one that incorporate fun into it to make each day worth going to.

March Madness Baby!

So I'm not sure what it is but when it comes to March Madness, I love it!

I've never been an intense sports person. I've always played growing up for example:
Baseball - up to age 11
Basketball - played through 10th grade
Football - played my 8th grade year
Golf - Always played and on the 10th grade golf team
Soccer - never played but love watching it

I've done all these sports but I lack one thing; a competitive drive. When it comes to competitions, I enjoy the fun of it over whether I won or not. When people start to get super serious in games to the point of yelling, I stop caring about my skill.

This is very apparent in my school behavior. My girlfriend graduated fourth in her class, beating all the females, and has a huge competitive drive. Me on the other had can't tell you where I placed, mostly cause I don't care but also because school wasn't fun so my performance was based on my ability to preform.

Finished!

Military term in the Old Testament (Joshua 14:11):
Coming in = Resting from battle Going out = Fighting the War

Spiritually this means:
Coming in = Entering God’s presence Going out = Witnessing and teaching

Another way to see it:
Coming in = Copying Going out = Pasting

God created us to be this beings that would “Come In” and “Go Out”

That’s why we have worship. To come before the LORD and rest and regain strength.

Scripture: To obtain, take in, words from God
Prayer: Talk with the Commander and Discuss plans of operation. Then Go!

It sounds like this beautiful picture to never leave God presence and continue to take in and take it.

God design you to be a river where things are going in are you’re giving them out.
He did not design you to be a reservoir and to be stagnant.

God designed you to give and for life to be going out of you.
When you stop giving, you begin to turn inward

Discipleship Week

Copy & Paste

PRAY!
Discussion of what the month is about: Recap on Last week

Matt 28:18
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Luke 24:47
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.

Jesus told them to witness, but first to stay. -Upper Room- 3,000 saved

Coming in and going out

1 King 3:7
Now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I [am] a little child; I do not know [how] to go out or come in.

Did Solomon have trouble with doors or door knobs? NO!

Transparency

So I couldn't find anything helpful for the homework. I kinda have a feeling that I didn't write the homework down correctly. Well, I'll just get to class early then to figure out what it is "exactly" I need to do. Yea, Dreamweaver!

Burning Bridges Baby Part 2

• You are Poor

  Matt 5:3
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
In comparison to God’s Kingdom, you have nothing

• You are Blind

Matt 13:16
But blessed are your eyes because they see

47-49 Bartimaeus had heard of Jesus and believe that if he could get his attention, Jesus could heal him
No matter who is pushing you down, never stop!
Then, Jesus called him.
Eph. 1:4 Called before the creation of the world
50 Throw his cloak aside!
We all have a cloak - Identity - Writings
When Jesus called him, He threw off his identity - He threw off who was known as - Everyone knew who he was and he denied it to go to Jesus
He was saying, “I don’t want to be that anymore!”

He came to Jesus, bare and ready for to be clothed
Isaiah 61:10
I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness

When you come, Jesus clothes you. He doesn’t leave you empty.

Bartimaeus didn’t go back to his cloak or his spot on the side of the road, he followed Jesus

Pt. 2

Matt 10:16
You are being sent out into danger.
Be wise (shrewd) as serpents (snakes).
• Cunning, sneaky, and sly.  • Able to change the hearts of man.  • No arms, No legs, and dessert
Be harmless as doves

1 Peter 3:15-16
Gentleness and Respect - Don’t jam down their throat. No one wants to hear it if you’re mean.
Clean Conscience  - **

Psalm 119:41-42
When people come for an answer, they aren’t always going to be nice (reproach or taunt)

2 Cor 10:3-5 -  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought in to captivity to the obedience of Christ

The key of a Christian is their response.
We respond and act in love because we have been given love.

The bottom line of being a Christian is love.
Both the Why and the How is Love

Why is this important?
Change lives for the kingdom’s sake.
** We don’t win arguments, we win people! The people are the prize not the problem!

How?
Love

History o' Inernet

I'm going to discuss something dear to my heart and very interesting...The history of the Internet.

It all started in 1957 with a small agency called ARPA (Advanced Research Project Alliance) but there focus wasn't for facebook or shopping but for military projects and scientific technology

Next, MIT started to communicate over the ARPA like small phone-like conversations

IN 1969, the ALPANET began to open big college schools to research and the first note was sent from UCLA to SRI

1973, ALPAnet goes globally and a year later, TCP is develop to allow quicker research

1982, first use of the word "internet" is used when created TCP/IC and two years later, 1000 host were added.

1985, first domain name is used: Symbolics.com and in 1987, over 10,000 host are around.

1991, Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web and surprisingly, in two years, it grew up 341,634%. That's pretty good!

And now billions of people continue to use it for daily livings such as homework and blogging.

THANKS INTERNET!

Look how cute she is!

Welcome

So I added a new character to my name. I'm a Christian, a graphic designer, and now BLOGGER.

I feel so alive now...
